**PRESS RELEASE FROM ELECTIONS**
The Blount County Election Commission has made a change in the location of a 5th Early Voting site for the November Election. The Election Commission had previously planned on a 5th location at Fairview Church. Due to unforeseen circumstances, that location has had to be changed. The new site will be at the:
Blount County Operations Center
1227 McArthur Road, Maryville
The Blount County Administrator of Elections stated, “Since there will no longer be Early Voting at Foothills Mall, a replacement location became a priority due to the expected heavy voter turnout. The Fairview Church location was our plan and has even been publicized with some of our preliminary information materials. While we apologize for the late change, we are very happy with the new location at the Blount County Operations Center.”
Early Voting begins on Wednesday, October 16 and runs through Thursday, October 31. Locations, days and hours are:
