Blount County Government uses Blount Discount Pharmacy and Walgreens as well as the dispensary at East TN Medical Group for workers' compensation prescriptions. Mail Order Pharmacy is also used for frequent refills. If an employee pays for an authorized prescription, turn in receipts to Risk Management and employee will be reimbursed.Risk Management

Yes. The employee is reimbursed for travel beyond a 15 mile radius, or a 30 mile round trip from home or work. The current mileage rate is based on the current mileage allowance for state employees. The current state travel regulations can be found at http:state.tn.us/finance/act/travel.html A mileage form must be completed by employee and submitted to Risk Management for reimbursement.
