Resolution No. 25-08-027 Rescinds Resolution No. 21-04-018 Entitled "Resolution to Reestablish Public Services Committee and Provide for Hearing Required by T.C.A. 5-1-115 Dealing with Removal of Vegetation and Debris from Certain Lots", and Replace it with Resolution to Reaffirm Resolution No. 01-04-012 as Originally Adopted by Blount County Commission on April 23, 2001, to Reestablish the Public Services Committee and Establish a Public Services Appeals Committee (Appellate Board).
The Public Services Appeals Committee (Appellate Board) acts as the hearing board for any provisions of T.C.A. 5-1-115.
It consists of five (5) members, which shall serve a term of two (2) years. The Blount County Highway superintendent shall nominate members of said committee to the Blount County Commission for appointment to the committee.
The Blount County Building Commissioner shall be the appropriate department designated to perform the duties and responsibilities set forth under subsection (b) and (c) of said T.C.A. 5-1-115.
