Rules of Conduct

Please take a few minutes to read our Rules of Conduct (PDF) for library patrons and usage of the library.

Fines

Due to the addition of our new Outdoor Book Return, we are fine-free until further notice. When fines resume, they will be as follows:

  • Fines for all materials (excluding hotspots) will be $.25 a day
  • Reserves not picked up will incur a one-time fee of $.25 per item.
  • Fines for overdue hotspots will incur a fine of $3 a day
  • A $5 processing fee will be owed for lost/missing items

Please note that we are still charging for lost and damaged materials.

Checkout Periods

  • Books, CDs, Long DVDs, and Audiobooks are checked out for 21 days.
  • DVDs and magazines are checked out for 7 days.

Maximum Number of Check Out Items per Library Card

The maximum number of checkouts is 20 Books (60 per family) and 6 for each of the following (15 per family):

  • Audiobooks on CD
  • DVDs
  • Magazines
  • Music CDs

Renewal Information

Materials may automatically be renewed up to three times. Your item will not be renewed if any of the following apply:

  • Another patron has placed a reserve on the item
  • The item has reached its renewal limit (three times)
  • Your card or a juvenile card attached to your account has projected fines of $4.99 or more
  • Your library card has expired

Drop Offs & Fines

A drive-up book drop is located on the Cusick Street side of the building and is available for the return of materials during and after normal business hours. For a video tutorial on how to use our new outdoor book return, click here.

The Library does not have a fax available for public use.
