Animal Center Advisory Board

Established 5/17/07.

Resolution No. 12-02-006 Increased the number of county commissioners serving the Animal Center Advisory Board from three (3) to five (5) county commissioners.

Members serve 1-year term. Commissioner appointments are recommended by the County Mayor and confirmed by the County Commission. Membership also includes Friends of the Blount County Animal Center (formerly SMACF) and contracting cities representatives.
