Adult cardholders with an account in good standing can check out wi-fi hotspots for $2.00 a day for up to 60 days. For information on the length of our checkout periods and pricing, please refer to the table.
Checkout Requirements
Prior to checking out a hotspot, you must sign a Library Hotspot Equipment Agreement Form. You may bring your own printed copy, or get one from the circulation desk. Payment must be provided at checkout, with no refunds for early return of the device.
You must also meet the following criteria:
- Be an adult aged 18 or older
- Have had a BCPL Library Card for at least 3 weeks
- Account must be in good standing
- Show a valid Driver's License or other form of government issued photo ID (such as a Passport)
- Payment by debit or credit card must be provided at checkout
Additional Device Information
Patron's can choose which carrier they would prefer (Verizon or T-Mobile) depending on current inventory availability. Please check the coverage maps of both carriers before checking out a device to ensure the one you pick provides the best connection for your location.
